I believe in every talent and I invest my time every day in empowering the next generation of leaders. Because the development of our young people is my priority
Telling my story is showing what keeps me going and what makes me believe every day in a new time for all those who are struggling or not being heard.
If I had to sum up who I am in a few words, I would say that I would like to serve and support others to raise their voices.
And in all these dimensions, my story intersects with so many other inspiring stories, for me and for all of you who believe that each of us can make a difference - be it close to home or on a global scale.

Naomi Izabela (19) has been serving the public sector from a very young age and has built up a learning experience over the years by fulfilling many different functions. Friends and family will tell you right away that she never forgets the people she fights for. Committed to changing the world, Naomi has set the bar high for herself and will continue to strive to achieve her goal.
Naomi is and has always been committed to the well-being of people. After years of experience in various organizations to bring about positive change in the lives of families, the elderly and young people, Naomi now takes this experience to policy makers at home and abroad. It is this intense commitment, passion and dedication that fuels her for change.

Safer Cities J500
Safer Cities supports young people who fight against sexual harassment in the city. The aim of the program is to build safe, responsible and inclusive cities with and for adolescent girls. In this context, young people make their voices heard about their own experiences with sexual harassment in the city and work together to identify problems and formulate solutions. We started the event J500."
Against sexual violence!
In recent months, Naomi Izabela, together with Amnesty International, has helped to campaign and collect a petition against sexual violence. "It was a lot of fun and a great thing to do. I got to know great people and helped collect a lot of petitions.
But what also touched me were many testimonials from girls and boys who were victims of sexual violence. It just happens way too much! A bold, effective and coordinated approach is needed at all policy levels. " - Naomi Izabela
Speech 30 years of the Convention on the Rights of the Child!
"How happy we are that there are children's rights that protect our children today and future generations as well. But we must not forget that there are many children around the world who cannot enjoy these rights. We must continue to work on that."

Children's Rights Day In the Flemish Parliament
Naomi Izabela made a plea on the interests of children's rights in the Flemish Parliament on the Children's Rights Day, which was organized by various organizations that are committed to children's rights within Belgian society.

Naomi asks for more resources to be made available for prevention. “We must dare to invest in our mental capital and focus more on prevention. In this way, the quality of life of young people who suffer from psychological complaints becomes healthier, which translates into better personal, social and professional functioning.”
For example, young people who suffer from psychological complaints will be more active in life. This makes it easier for them to participate in society.
